    I'm a still photographer. I use this for my long exposure night shots - both to read camera settings by (esp when using old film cameras like the Mamiya Press) and sometimes to provide fill on the thing being photographed. It works fine for that. It's small - fits in a pocket. Is plastic and doesn't feel super robust, but I've had it for awhile and it hasn't broken. I've got some colored gels I use with it. Unfiltered the light is very "cold."

    I bought this light for when I take photos at night. It is low powered so you may only get a good shot if you are doing close up interviews in video otherwise to lower the gain you might need a high end camera. However, it's perfect for focusing subjects in no-light situations when you usually rely on a external flash for the actual photo. I like that it uses 2 aa batteries, so I can use the rechargeable ones I use for my flashes and my big led light. I also like that it has an on-off switch separate from the dimmer. However, you can't dim the light all the way, only to a certiain extent. Build quality is good. I wouldn't recommend mounting other hardware to the top or sides of this light such as a microphone. But it is built of high quality plastic.

    I use this little guy at all my weddings! I have only had to replace the the batteries once since having it! It's bright, compact, and super easy to mount to your camera! Works in place of flash, and for videography as well!

    Simple product fits perfectly on the top of my Nikon D700. I bought it to throw a catch light in my portrait subjects eyes for event shooting. Does the job well. Would buy another.

    This is a well made fill light for facial shadows in dimly lit environments. Two double AA batteries power this an hour and a half on high, and three hours on low power. Low is enough for most applications where the light is used as a fill. Operation is simple with a power switch and a variable intensity knob from low to high light output. The small size makes it convenient on small cameras, and some users might find it useful to be able to modularly connect many of these together. Personally, I like the single unit small size and long operation time on two easy to find batteries. My only complaint is the light is daylight balanced at 5600K, so using it indoors at night casts a bluish tint in a normally lit room. I solved the problem by cutting to size a small orange gel I fashioned from an orange plastic CD sleeve and installing it on the inside of the bulb cover. It looks like it was made that way from the factory, and the color balance is very close to 3200K, which almost perfectly matches normal room lighting. Make sure you tighten the mount well at both the camera end and light end, as it can slip off if you don't.

     This light has joined my camera/video bag as a MUST HAVE. It's such an affordably priced fill light that gets impressively bright for the size and power consumption. Especially for close range subject, this easy-to-mount light will increase photo/video quality. I primarily work with videos, and so far it has been incredibly easy to use and has worked extremely well. There is such a visible increase in quality that comes along with using this lighting for video. I show off the difference in my review video as well! I purchased this from Letwing Digital! Pros: Price Brightens Light weigh Easy to use Mounts and Links Compact Cons: No rechargeable battery Overall, this is one of my favorite new additions to my setup. It's easy to use and works extremely well. You seriously can't beat this for the price. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.
