I love this! The Docooler 2.4GHz Wireless Optical Pen Mouse is really easy to use. I am still in the process of learning Photoshop, so sometimes I still find myself custom cropping images and this pen mouse makes it feel as if I'm just drawing. I bought it for that very reason and it's working perfectly. The only challenge will be not losing it! It's very light and I foresee myself misplacing it many times over. Thank goodness it's inexpensive! I've recommended this to my whole family!

This thing is great. There is a little bit of a learning process but once you get used to it it becomes very natural and comfortable. It is very fun to use and you can use it on just about anything. It is also very accurate, I use it frequently with architectural software as well as photoshop and illustrator. The pen tip has flat edges which I use to make a rolling motion instead of sliding when extreme accuracy is needed. This technique makes this devise much more accurate and responsive to micro movements than a traditional optical mouse. My only complaint is that I would like it to have a bit more weight and to be more sturdy. Perhaps if they used metal instead of flimsy plastic it would solve the problem. I still gave it 5 stars because at only just above $10 it is well worth it. The battery life is also surprisingly good considering it only uses a single AAA.

I don't do presentations anymore, but I do spend a lot of time at the Computer (Desktop, Laptop and Tablet). My wrist has gotten a workout with the standard mouse configuration, with the positioning of the hand, and the limitation on arm placement and movement. I found this 'pen mouse' very easy to come to terms with (the adjustable DPI helped in finding a proper 'speed') The grip is very natural and I can position my arm close to the body, or even on the body for comfort. I have been fighting off carpal tunnel problems, and this pen control has proven to be an asset in varying the motions, which is what I was looking for. I was shipped quickly, received as promised, and immediately 'plugged and played' with both Vista and Win 7. I have been bragging about it to anyone who would listen, and would proudly purchase one as a gift for a friend. I will note that I do not have large hands and I found the 'fit' to be exceptional. I don't know that extremely large hands would have a problem, The auto sleep function works well to conserve battery, as well as the conveniently positioned on/off switch. It will read almost any surface (from my pants leg to my bare belly! The only problem is with any highly reflective or shiny surface.) Highly pleased, and happy to recommend this to everyone!

Great product. Fits in the curve of your hand like a giant pencil. My hand isn't very steady anyway, so I can't say if you sign an online document it will be like actually signing on paper. I'm not an artist either, so aside from that, it's just a different way of holding a mouse. It glides smooth on any surdace I've used and its fairly reaponsive. It's got 3 "speeds" and you can definitely tell the difference. Sturdy so far, I haven't dropped it yet, so I hope it lasts me awhile.

I purchased this mouse because I was getting shoulder pain and thought it was because of the way I held the mouse, so I purchased this to try something new. So far, it has been great. I'm also left handed, but have not had any issues with the buttons. Only took a little while to get used to it. The "left click" button is in an odd spot on the left of the pen, but I can deal with that: not really an ideal location for either a lefty or righty. Outside of that, the pen works great and no more shoulder pain!

It took all of three minutes to get it working. Pop in a 'AAA' battery, connect the USB dongle. Done! I'm dominate on my right hand, but I write left handed. For me, holding this in my left hand is really easy. Primary mouse button is a click with the index finger, and secondary mouse is a movement with my middle finger. It works simultaneously with my existing mouse. Nothing to disconnect. I don't know battery life yet, but who cares. I got a stack of rechargeable 'AAA'. For about $10.00, you really can't go wrong. I intend to order two more, 1 for work, 1 for home and 1 to put in my laptop case.

I like it very much! It doesn't take long to get used to it, but also you cannot really use it for looong periods as your hand does get fatigued. The ONLY function that for me is needed would be the wheel button, as it is crucial in some CAD softwares I use it for. Although with this and a 3D Cad Mouse it looks like I'm Tom Cruise in Minority Report, except that I look cooler doing engineering,

After I toggle the upper middle button to adjust the sensitivity and change the mouse precision setting on my Windows 10, this gadget becomes really handy - I can even draw pictures and sign with it. The key is that you need to adjust to the most comfortable setting. The default setting is not satisfying at all.

I Never knew that using a computer could be THIS EASY!! Using a mouse, it seems like the cursor is an extension of your hand. By Using this pen-mouse, makes it seem like an extension of your mind. At first, using the TOMTOP PEN-MOUSE was kind of weird, I had never used anything but a mouse to control my computer, but in about 5 minutes, I was rocking this thing like i was a pro! Its so sweet, that even playing video games is WAY EASIER!! It only takes a flick of the wrist to do anything now. I don't know why these aren't standard equipment on ALL computers!! Using a mouse seems bulky and awkward now. the pen-mouse itself is built surprisingly sturdy, considering how many times Ive dropped it off the table, but it still works perfectly. the fact that it only uses one battery, is awesome, because it seemed like I was going through tons of batteries using a wireless mouse. using the scroll wheel, I thought would be hard, but it fits my hand perfectly!! When i first got it, i thought that the buttons were going to be toast in no time, but they built this thing REALLY TOUGH!! the DPI button, makes the cursor move a little bit, or a lot, with just a little movement, and that's a plus! I never knew WHAT that button did on my old mouses. My brothers a game designer, and he told me the only difference between this pen-mouse and a professional pen-mouse, is the ability to push down on the tip, to make shading darker, but other than that it does everything the pro ones do, and just as good!! If I had a complaint, it would be that I knock it over all the time, but that's more my fault than its fault. It even comes with a stand, that makes it stand up when your not using it, but I use it to help me hold it at just the right angle,to be the most efficient, when playing games and stuff where speed is important. ABOUT THE SHIPPING: I don't know who actually did the shipping( I m pretty sure it was the company that's selling it through amazon) but when I first ordered it, my order got messed up some how, and the company went out of there way to help me, and made sure I got my package. I just thought that was worth mentioning. All in All I would give this Pen-mouse a perfect 10!

As others have said, this is much better than expected! It's almost as accurate as a Wacom-type tablet. I'm sure with more use, one could get just as good with it. I still prefer my Intuos Pro Small for accurate work, but this is PERFECT for general mousing on your lap - which is how I use it now. I do wish it had more buttons like a clicking scroll wheel and/or tilting scroll wheel, but I'm sure the tilting would add to its size.

I've been using this for just a little over a month now. This is the first time I've tried using a pen mouse, and I have to say I really love it. For me, it is really the best way to control the cursor. It definitely is more ergonomic than a standard mouse and i've noticed alot less wrist pain since I've started using it. Perhaps more importantly, the portability of this mouse is fantastic, I take this into meeting in my pocket and pull it out as needed. I use the mouse at work for probably 6-7 hours a day. At that level of use I got about 3 weeks out of the first AAA battery. I can't say enough good things about this device and highly recommend it. I will say that using this format of mouse is a little bit of its own skill and there is a little bit of a learning curve. In particular as other reviewers have mentioned, the right click button takes some time to get the right technique. Since the tip doesn't create resistance pressing sideways for the right click function will move the mouse. I have adapted by allowing my middle finger to rest lightly on the surface as I move the mouse, applying more pressure to the finger when I right or left click to create resistance to prevent the mouse from moving. Resting your fingers on the surface also helps with the other technique issue, which is maintaining a consistent angle in the hand. The responsiveness of the mouse is very consistent, but using it at significantly different angles will affect its sensitivity. Resting at least one finger on the surface helps to maintain a more consistent angel and allows you to use your fingers to give more precision when necessary. It might sound like a bit of a hassle, but it becomes second nature very quickly and I have found in less than a month, I have more speed and control than I did using a standard mouse. The best way to think about the technique is to approach the grip thinking of the device as a standard mouse that happens to be shaped like a pen rather than as a pen which happens to function as a mouse. The last learning curve issue deals with the fact that it is more cumbersome to put down and pick up the pen mouse, to get around this I actually continue to hold the pen mouse in my hand while typing, sort of tucking it under my hand with my thumb, never really moving my thumb out of position. Doing it this way allows me to actually switch between typing and mousing very quickly, at least as quickly as transitioning from mouse to keyboard, and possibly faster, since my mouse is always where my hand is rather than having to move my hand to where the mouse is. Like I said it only took about a week to pretty much nail this down, and its not so much a detractor as just a difference you should be aware of. Unfortunately, these havn't become very popular yet so it seems that there are no well know companies are designing and manufacturing these devices. As a result the design isn't quite as refined as it could be, although its still great. In general the materials have a cheap feel to them. I've been using this pretty heavily and havnt been afraid of knocking it around abit, and its held together great but the finish on this doesn't proclaim quality. Also, the available colors and trims available on these could use some work and contribute to the "cheap" look. Perhaps the biggest bummer is that there is no storage for the dongle inside the pen. In reality, I'm not moving between computers alot so this is no big deal but it would be a nice touch. One last thing with regard to the scroll wheel, the scroll wheel works perfectly. However this devices just uses standard drivers, and the calibration of the scroll wheel sensitivity was a little goofy. It was necessary for me to drastically alter the scroll wheel sensitivity in windows when I first set this up, but once its done, its set and forget. All and all a fantastic little gizmo. I noticed as I was getting ready to write this review that the company which makes these, which seems to have them marketed under a few brand names, seems to now have another updated model which includes a laser pointer, a capacitive touch stylus for your tablet/phone, and a compartment for storing the dongle. It does seem to be a few dollars more, but it might be worth it. I've ordered one and I'm excited to see if it works just as well!
